Because We Care
Benjamin Wright, DVM
Dr. Benjamin Wright graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and started work in private practice in Garland Texas shortly thereafter. After working two years in private practice, Dr. Wright took on a full time staff position at the Lake Ray Hubbard Emergency Pet Care Center where he worked for seven years. Working at the ER provided Dr. Wright with invaluable experience treating critically ill and injured patients which he translates into caring for sick and injured pets at Lakewood Veterinary Center.
Dr. Wright’s dream of opening a practice in his own neighborhood came to life in August of 2005 when he opened Lakewood Veterinary Center. His vision was to have a small neighborhood practice where he knew his clients and their pets by name.
Dr. Wright maintains strong relationships
with local specialists (Internists, Surgeons, Dermatologists, Ophthalmologists, and Neurologists) to augment the care he and his staff provide at Lakewood Veterinary Center.
Dr. Wright shares his life with a mixed breed dog named Daisy, a domestic shorthair cat named Tubby and a domestic longhair cat named Wookie.
